Do you work at heights, supervise workers who do, or manage a workplace where height-related activities are undertaken? Without suitable training, it can be difficult to recognise unsafe practices, identify fall hazards or determine whether fall-protection equipment is being selected and used correctly. This nationally accredited training provides a practical understanding of: Why fall-protection equipment is required How different types of equipment work How to inspect equipment before use How to correctly select, fit and use fall-protection equipment How to identify common hazards and unsafe work practices How to apply appropriate control measures when working at heights Participants will also complete practical climbing and height-safety activities in our purpose-built workshop. This allows them to use the equipment in realistic situations under controlled and supervised conditions. This accredited training is GST-free, so no GST is payable on the course fee.
